This train belongs to the national rail company, Comboios de Portugal (CP) and has five wooden carriages dating back to the very beginning of the last century, and a steam locomotive of the 1960s. You'll be able to admire the magnificent landscape of the Douro region on this journey through time, covering 46 kilometres.

The journey takes place every Saturday, but from 16th August to 4th October, this journey will also run on Sundays. It always leaves Régua at 3.22 p.m. heading to Pinhão and then carries on to Tua. The return to Régua is always scheduled for 6.32 p.m.

During the trip there is entertainment on board with typical songs from the region, a toast with a glass of Port Wine, and you can also taste the local delicacies.

The fare for an adult is 35 euros and for children (aged 5 to 12), 15 euros. CP has special fares and discounts for rail connections and accommodation.
