Francesinha among the Top 10 best European flavours

The Francesinha, a typical gastronomic dish from Porto, is a flavour not to be missed on the European menu, according to the British website, The Culture Trip.

This list, showing the best must-have local flavours in Europe, includes delicacies such as Belgian chocolate, waffles from Antwerp, paella from Valencia and German beer.

The Francesinha is a kind of sandwich with various layers of meat inside and melted cheese on top, served with chips covered in a special sauce.

To try this typical dish there are several reference restaurants particularly in the area of Boavista, but also in Vila Nova de Gaia.
