This hostel is located in two beautiful, listed buildings, classified as World Heritage, which have been renovated into Porto's biggest hostel.
It has amazing views of the city, 16 bedrooms and can accommodate 116 people. The name 'Tattva' comes from the Sanskrit word meaning 'element', representing the elements from which life evolved: Earth, Air, Water and Fire. In this hostel, each bed has individual curtains for your privacy. There is a bathroom, high-pressure showers, rooms with individual heaters and ventilators for each bed, reading lights, Wi-Fi internet, an open-air terrace and an area for barbecues. There is free breakfast, laundry service, individual, spacious wardrobes, a reading room, bar, restaurant, various events, a fully equipped kitchen for everyone's use and luggage storage. The Tattva Design Hostel is eco-friendly, as it has double glazing to improve energy efficiency, thermal solar panels, and uses LED lights and separates and recycles its waste.
